Equation Solver
Systems of linear equations, quadratic to quartic polynomials and inequalities. Roots come out exact, like 1+√2, and complex roots as a+bi.

- StatisticsMean, σ and s, quartiles, 7 regression models
- DistributionsNormal, inverse normal, binomial, Poisson
- EquationsSystems of 2–4 unknowns, quadratic to quartic, inequalities
- Matrix & vectorUp to 4×4: multiply, inverse, determinant; dot and cross
- Base-NBinary, octal, decimal, hex with and, or, xor
- Tablef(x) and g(x) for up to 200 rows, with a small chart
How to use
- Simultaneous: pick the number of unknowns and fill in the coefficients. It tells you when there is no solution or infinitely many.
- Polynomial: pick the degree and enter coefficients from the highest power. Quadratics also show the vertex.
- Inequality: pick the sign and get the solution as intervals such as x<1 or 3
- SOLVE: type any equation in x with = and it finds a root near your starting value, e.g. cos(x)=x.
- Boxes accept expressions like 1/3, √2 or 2π.
For the quadratic formula and the discriminant, see the equations guide.
